Technology & Innovation
Our classrooms are equipped with Interactive Smart Boards, which opens up the learning via multiple media (audiovisual, written, oral documentary sources) to ensure access to the curriculum for all our students. The Robotics hub offers an invaluable opportunity for all our students to approach coding and STEM as part of our play-based methodology.
We also have two fully equipped laboratories, where students from all Grades perform experiments as part a programme that intentionally develops research and thinking skills. Our teachers are trained, and collaborate, to create regular opportunities to apply knowledge in our purpose-built research environments as well as in other spaces in our school. Learning by doing is our motto, as part of our mission to deliver an international curriculum, providing inquiry-based learning opportunities to promote problem-solving and risk-taking attitudes in our students.
The IT laboratory is a space where younger students develop their IT skills to then transition to our BYOD model in Grades 4 and above. All students access learning via devices in a guided manner to ensure they develop the self-management skills needed to enhance their learning for future academic and professional careers.
We have a dedicated role, our IT Integrator, who works with all teachers to seamlessly thread into all the units the application of technological tools. Our pedagogical model rests on collaborative planning and moderating assessment to ensure all our students experience the highest of standards in their learning.
