Community & Family Events

At NWIS, we open our campus to welcome the whole community in the learning and relationship-building taking place every day within our walls. Family-focused events like our Sustainability Day, International Fair, and Cafe Latte foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere where families can connect with teachers, staff, and fellow families in an array of different activities and places.

Activity-based events, such as science fairs, sports competitions, or STEAM workshops allow parents to actively participate in their child’s learning. Regular family assemblies or showcases create opportunities for students to present their work, reinforcing confidence and a sense of accomplishment, presenting their inquiry-based, learning by doing methodology.

These events build a collaborative school environment, enrich student learning, and strengthen the school-family partnership, ultimately creating a vibrant, inclusive school culture.
