NWIS is a school part of the SEK Education Group, an institution founded in 1892. SEK brings 130 years of tradition in innovation in education and being part of this larger community ensures our systems and pedagogical approaches are meeting the highest of standards.
SEK Education Group is made up of the SEK International Schools, which cater to over 7000 students between the ages of 4 months to 18 years old from over 80 nationalities at their eight schools in Europe: Madrid, Barcelona, Almería, Pontevedra (all in Spain), Dublin (Ireland) and Les Alpes (France). In the Middle East we are four schools, located in Doha (Qatar), in Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), in Manama (Kingdom of Bahrain) and in Muscat (Sultanate of Oman). In the SEK model each school celebrates its own unique local context and cultural identity whilst sharing the same values, vision and passion for learning.
Also part of the group is the Camilo José Cela University, founded in 2000 in Madrid, a highly rated university with entrepreneurship, technology, social impact and well-being as strategic axes.
