Al Naaman Al Naamani
Chairman
Al Naaman Al Naamani is the Chairman of New World International School, where he plays an active role in shaping the school’s strategic direction, institutional development, and long-term growth. He is passionate about creating a school environment that balances academic excellence with wellbeing, innovation, leadership, and strong values.
As a young Omani chairman, Al Naaman brings a forward-looking perspective to education and believes that schools must prepare students for a rapidly changing world. His vision for NWIS is to develop confident, responsible, and globally minded students who are equipped with the knowledge, character, and life skills needed to succeed.
Beyond education, Al Naaman is active across sports, investment, and business development in Oman. His wider experience allows him to bring a practical and ambitious perspective to NWIS, connecting education with leadership, entrepreneurship, wellness, and real-world opportunity.

Mashael Fairooz
Vice Chairman
Mashael Fairooz is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience across investment banking, financial advisory, and business development in the MENA region. She brings a strategic, governance-focused perspective to her work, with a strong commitment to long-term institutional growth and ethical leadership.
She is the Founder of JEO Capital Management and Chief Executive Officer of JEO Partners, a Central Bank of Bahrain-regulated firm, where she has led initiatives supporting sustainable development, including investments in the education and healthcare sectors. Through this work, she has contributed to advancing access to quality services and fostering innovation in learning environments.
Mashael serves as Chairperson of Safa, a portfolio company of Mumtalakat, promoting environmental responsibility through carbon offsetting solutions. Her leadership reflects a broader commitment to sustainability and future-focused thinking—values that are increasingly integral to modern education.
With extensive board experience across the region, Mashael contributes to governance, strategic direction, and institutional effectiveness. She is particularly passionate about supporting educational institutions in delivering high-quality learning, strengthening organizational resilience, and preparing students to thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
She has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and London Business School. Mashael holds a BA from Hult International Business School in London and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, UK.

Faisal Janahi
Board Member
Faisal Janahi is an investment professional and board director with over a decade of experience across education. fintech, private equity, real assets, and strategic investments in the GCC, UK, and Europe. He is recognized for disciplined capital allocation, strong governance judgment, and a long-term approach to value creation.
He has structured and executed complex cross-border transactions, supported the scaling of high-growth platforms, and advised on capital strategy across private and public markets. His experience combines hands-on investment execution with board-level oversight, aligning shareholder interests with sustainable institutional performance. Faisal serves on the boards of multiple companies, including publicly listed entities and growth-stage startups across the region, where he provides strategic guidance, governance oversight, and support on commercialization and scale. He has held senior investment and executive roles overseeing diversified portfolios across real estate, fintech, and public equities, leading restructuring initiatives, capital optimization, and long-term value creation. Faisal holds an MSc in Management from Imperial College London, a BA in Finance & Entrepreneurship from Suffolk University, and has completed executive programs at Oxford and Imperial College London.

Wael Shehab
Board Member
Wael Shehab is a Principal in the Asset Management division at JEO, where he is responsible for evaluating and managing investment opportunities across the MENA region. He contributes to portfolio strategy and asset allocation, with a focus on long-term value creation and disciplined financial oversight.
He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of a school in Bahrain, where he supports effective governance, strategic planning, and institutional sustainability within the education sector. As Board Secretary, Wael ensures structured board processes, clear communication, and adherence to regulatory and fiduciary standards. His experience working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices informs his approach to financial stewardship and resource management.
Wael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
